Expansion consideration?

Thinking out loud about a potential conference shakeup. I have to believe that the Clemson AD and BOT have been working the through potential scenarios since Texas/OU move. That being said, we just did add women’s gymnastics and lacrosse. I find it very interesting from a timing standpoint. Makes me lean a bit more to a possible B1G alignment, but I have absolutely no idea. An SEC move makes much more geographical sense unless the B1G poaches even more ACC schools. Don’t think SEC has lacrosse?

I definitely don’t think so either. I’m just wondering if there was already some foresight into conference moved when adding these sports. End of the day it’s survival and money.

What if the ACC we're to think outside of the box...think big, really big, like going international. Invite the largest university in the world to join the conference.

A quick Google search reveals that Indira Gandhi National Open University in New Delhi, India, has a student body of over 7 million students. Think of the potential expansion in international TV market revenue. Makes since to me to invite them, other than the long plane flights, the huge likelihood that they'll bring cricket gear to a football game, and their largest player would be like 5'-6" and weigh 110 lb.
