Just haven't posted much lately. I've been watching Dabo and Venables and Elliott in their post practice pressers, plus reading this board. Just a few comments in no particular order:
Best wishes on signing day tomorrow. Things are looking great for y'all.
I've got a lot of friends who are still buying the bull that was tossed around all season - Clemson is over-rated....Ohio State will gut punch them....etc. They have already pencilled in LSU/OSU in New Orleans. Can't wait till game day. I don't think it will be another 31-0 game, but I do think Clemson has the better team.
Dabo has done a great job handling the Jeff Scott situation. Just shows more evidence that he has built a program - not just a team - at Clemson.
I've been following the new coaching staff at FSU, of course. I keep reminding my Nole buddies that it is much easier to win the press conference than the games. But, with that said, I am encouraged. Norvell seems like a much better prepared coach to step in than Taggart was. Taggart, when he first arrived, was more like a cheerleader - extolling how great the brand was, "This is Florida State!" Norvell talks about the hard work it will take to get us there.
Both his coordinators have worked for him. One of Taggart's biggest problems was the lack of comraderie in the coaching staff. Clearly, that won't be a problem with this group.

Thanks for the kind comments. We ALL need for FSU to get back into “the swing of things” so we hope the new guy is the answer. The league must have the Noles and a couple of others to become headline programs. You saw how much grief the Tigers got this year because the other league teams were only good! Become great again... quickly,

Without going digging myself, what's the word on the staff there? Is he bringing in mostly new people? Surely he's starting over at O'line coach.
I did see he kept Odell on (smart move).

He's keeping Odell and Ron Dugans (WR and an FSU star in the 90s.) He's bringing his DC with him and he's hiring a guy who was his former OC, but spent this past year at Auburn as OC.)
Other than that, no hires have been made public. He said he is vetting coaches, but concentarating on recuriting with signing day coming up tomorrow.
