Offensive Line options

A few days ago, Coach Morris listed a few offensive linemen that did not "bite" (David Beasley, Kalon Davis and Gifford Timothy). Given the current injury situation and the accolades given to other linemen, I came up with these lineups.
LT - Shaq Anthony
LG - Brandon Thomas
C - Dalton Freeman
RG - Tyler Shatley
RT - Joe Gore

or

LT - Shaq Anthony
LG - Brandon Thomas
C - Ryan Norton
RG - Tyler Shatley
RT - Dalton Freeman

Either way, we are going to getting more experience for our new center next year or improving our depth for offensive tackle. Coach them up!!

The way they've been talking up Shaq Anthony and Norton, and saying that Freeman needed to gain weight and has been such a good student, I think they've been quietly grooming him for a position switch for a while. Either to one of the guard spots or to tackle. I think they expected Norton to come on more than it sounds but I think Anthony has been the big surprise so far.

They are pleased with Thomas at LT so don't see him moving

These next few weeks before game installation begins are a huge opportunity for Anthony, Gore and Battle. All have a chance to step up and win a starting job. If they don't I'm comfortable moving Freeman to RT and starting Norton at C. Believe Davis will be fine and these are just motivational tactics.
