I'm seeing a lot of complaints about clock management but...

Sep 5, 2016, 11:02 AM

I see a lot of posts regarding complaints about the clock management on the last drive. One thing that I have noticed since Chad Morris has left is the tempo of our offense. Our tempo has seemed to slow down drastically. I know we are running a similar amount of plays on offense, but it seems like anytime the coaches slow down the tempo it ends up killing the drive. When I was watching the Texas-Notre Dame game last night, Texas started out high tempo snapping the ball around 30 seconds left on the play clock and they ended up driving right down the field. Do we not have the personnel to do that anymore or what is it? The high tempo offense will wear down a defense. Perhaps it would have slowed down Auburn's front 7. What do you guys think?
