I'm 24 years old

Dec 4, 2015, 10:01 AM

I have been a Clemson fan for as long as I remember. The first game I remember going to was the 1996 Gator Bowl when we got shallacked by Syracuse. Since then I have experienced the highs and lows of being a Tiger fan- I remember watching Rod Gardner catch that pass right in front of me to beat South Carolina in 2000, I remember watching Woody with the walk off td at Gt (although I really just heard it because I was too nervous to watch), I remember watching us upset #3 FSU from the hill, I remember watching our long snapper rolling the ball on the ground in 2004 and the subsequent loss at the hands of Calvin Johnson, I remember watching James Davis winning us the game when we played Texas A&M, I remember watching us beat Georgia Tech in 2006 only to lose to Virginia Tech the very next week, I remember watching Matt Ryan beat us to take our ACC Title chances in 2007, and since then there have been many ups and downs that we all as Tiger fans are familiar with. I have always been proud to be a Tiger through these ups and downs and there is nothing I enjoy more than watching my team take the field every Saturday during the fall. Honestly, I never thought that I would see a Tiger team in the position that they are in now, I guess I'm the kind of person that expects the worst and hopes for the best but I can't wait to go to the biggest Clemson game of my lifetime this Saturday night. I'll be in section 513, cheering my ### off for the Tigers like I have ever since I was little kid and I can't be more excited for it. Go Tigers! Beat the Heels!

I am 54 and I have been a Clemson Tiger since day 1 attending my first Clemson Carolina game at 6 months old! I remember many more highs and lows but essentially 1981 was a dream that I still relish in today. I believe this is even more of a team of destiny than that 1981 team was because of the changes in the CFB landscape. Enjoy every singe step along this journey and I hope, like you and all of our fellow Tigers, we end up on top! Go Tigers, beat everybody!

T.I.P. I hope you find a great place there up north to watch the game and have fun cheering the Tigers to an ACC Championship. I know it must be kind of difficult to be so far away from the places and the people you love! I am thinking about you! Go T.I.P. and Go Tigers!

Thank you!

It is hard being so far away this season especially since I was not able to get back to the valley this year. but one good thing is that I can wear my Clemson stuff around here in absolute pride.

Good news this weekend is that NDSU's playoff game vs Montana (that I work) is at 2:30 so it will be long over by the time Clemson's game gets started. So not a conflict for once. It'll be a lottery if the BWW will be showing it or not, but I will have them change it if they aren't.

Just think, in a short 16 years, you'll be a man. You'll also be able to proclaim to others, or the media, to pick on you because you can take it....cause 40 and a man

On a more sirius note, enjoy this season - they don't come around very often!!

kid getting his first bike at Christmas.

Fast forward to today and at age 68 I'm AGAIN pinching myself in awe of our season amid hopes for another "bike."

Most of us older Tigers have said for years that we hoped we lived long enough to see another title. Hopefully, you'll live long enough to see several.

GO TIGERS!
