You think there is any chance I'll offend anyone or get a crap load of litter thrown in my yard?
Seriously, it's just a flag. I honestly could care less what they do with it. Too many other more important issues. If a freaking flag pisses you off then in my mind, maybe you aught to channel some of that energy into fighting hunger or making sure kids have warm clothes or maybe helping an addict get his life together. These are just a few things that carry more weight than that flag. I'd be more concerned with lending a hand to the elderly when times are hard.
I almost died this year and I still might for all I know. Whether the flag stays or goes, it's an issue for people that have priorities confused. I place more importance on loving my children.

It has historical significance. It is being displayed in a historically appropriate setting. Are we going to take it out of museums as well? Are we going to tear down the Confederate memorials in our towns throughout the State? We remember history so we will not repeat it.

No one will complain about it being in a museum, because it is history and that is where history belongs. That is not our current flag and that flag, or whatever variant of it, was only our flag for 4 years a long, long time ago. To have it flying on our statehouse grounds implies a sense of prominence today. That should not be the case. SC leaders...do the right thing, take it down.
