Crawled into bed after work because I was tired. Watched Apocalypse Now for the first time. Great movie! This was the *Redux* version that they released with like 40 minutes of extra footage.
Wife made a chicken spaghetti type dish that was really good.
Wife and kids gave me my birthday gifts early... a nice Filson hat (see pictures), a new flannel shirt, a fillet knife, and a bag of gummie nerd clusters.
While savoring my last few gummie nerd clusters, I bit down on a nerd the wrong way and broke off my front tooth. Now I look like Lloyd Christmas.
No hanky panky from the wife.

Went hunting behind the house. Saw a big-bodied 4 point buck and a bunch of small doe. I let them walk.
Wife made french toast, bacon, and sausage for me. She also made me a bunch of mimosas. I'm too old for morning-drinking. I think I probably drank a bottle and a half of Proseco, so I wasn't worth a crap the rest of the day.
Watched the Clemson game with my boy and my 2 year old nephew. Slept through the second half.
Went to Private Property in Lexington for dinner. Had the 16oz blackened ribeye and half of my wife's fillet. Paid for my own dinner... just about $200. Took the family for milkshakes.
No hanky-panky from wife.

Went hunting, saw a pile of smaller doe and a spike. Didn't shoot any. Went to church with the kids.
Lunch at Price's BBQ in Gilbert with my dad and family.
Drove up to the deer processor in Prosperity to pick up two deer that were ready.
Went to (and sorta hosted) my son's football team's end of the year party. Ate Little Caesars.
In bed by 8pm.
