It is not my place to give my analysis of the game last night. It was a tough loss. It shows why I am not a football analyst. It was nothing like I expected.
I don't know what the problem with the offense was. I have my thoughts, but I will keep them to myself.
I would like to comment on the comments on this board about the OL. If that is the problem, I understand your angst.
The last good OL coach we had at FSU was, believe it or not, Brad Scott. We are hoping that the current OL coach will at least be competent.
Just like the head coach makes the difference, so do the position coaches.
Mark Richt told a story at Bobby Bowden's funeral. Bobby called Mark into his office and said, "Charlie (Ward) keeps throwing the ball to the wrong team. Is that his fault, is it my fault, or is it your fault?" Mark replied, "I understand. It's my fault. I'll fix it."
I can see Dabo having the same conversation with Tony Elliott.
Once again, I don't know what the problem was. But, I have no doubt Dabo does.
