I'll just throw this out there regarding the playoffs

If Clemson wins tonight we'll be the only team with 11 wins AND a conference championship outside the top 3 assuming UGA, Michigan, and TCU take care of business.

Which of the following teams would you put in over Clemson and why?

USC
Ohio St.
Alabama
Tennesee
Penn St.

Losing to South Carolina is completely unacceptable and the fact they kept us out of the playoffs is just one of the hundreds of reasons why.

But of those teams which do I think Clemson would actually beat? None. Painful to say but we are not beating any of this teams. Not without major improvement.

If I was objective:

Ohio State: Less losses (better losses), Better QB, Better Offense, as good of a defense.

Alabama: Same number of losses (slipped up at LSU which is a hard place to win at) and they were both very close, very elite QB, they haven't looked good but are incredibly talented and Saban can turn them into a top team with a month of prep.

USC: Horrible defense but best QB in the country. With a QB like Williams, anything is possible

Tennessee: This one's really close and probably just boils down to eye test (ie: I think they'd beat us). But they have Better wins, better losses (also lost to South Carolina like us and their only other loss was a reasonably close loss to UGA at UGA, much better than ours), they also have a great QB and their best receiver who was hurt in those games is back.

I'd put us in over Penn State.

Clemson played absolutely nobody and lost 2 games. Tulane is more deserving.
