I'd love to know if anyone has any thoughts on who might replace BV. I also would like to see us move on Joe Brady (remember LSU- the game that made me realize TE wasn't ready to go it alone)before someone else does. Maybe he's not the guy or doesn't want the hassle of college recruiting. I would hate to miss on him while TE is testing the waters. Hopefully, we get somebody on defense soon. The blue-chip defensive commits arent going to wait for long. You know UGA, TAMU, FSU, BAMA, Auburn , etc....are in contact with all of them. Go Tigers!

I don't think we're that lucky.
however I can see him going either way for DC.
either way.........should TE leave, the OC will be the most important hire.........there's some "wiggle room" with the DC hire, but he can't miss on the OC.

Who do we have internal with an OC? If Streeter, we’re in trouble and certainly not an upgrade.

Guess you think one good year at LSU is good enough to offer? What is his character? Good guy and team player plus developer of young men or just good at scheming plays? Can he recruit? Seems silly to continually throw out names without at least a little bit of info and perspective.

Agree. Brady may be an excellent OC but will he fit into the Clemson Culture. One of the most important traits.

Joe Brady would be nice in some capacity but I am guessing Streeter would be promoted. Venables has enough people working under him long enough to be able to carry on his philosophy, surely!

Brady has said he prefers the pro game because he does not like recruiting. I think Bronco Mendenhall would be a phenomenal hire for DC. Good defensive coach and would probably fit the culture very well.
