Some Stats on our offensive line against NC State

I thought Deshaun was getting roughed up a bit during the NC State game. Went back over the game and counted how many times he got hit. Divided the throws up into two categories: less than 2.5 sec., and 2.5 sec. +
First half passing plays under 2.5 sec. Number of hits on Deshaun 12 ...........................................0
passing plays over 2.5 sec. Number of hits on Deshaun 13 ...........................................3 Second half under 2.5 sec. Number of hits on Deshaun 11 .......................0 over 2.5 sec. Number of hits on Deshaun 16........................5
These are roughly accurate, although I may have missed one or two. Despite the pick 6, Deshaun played an incredible game
Any time he was going over 2.5 seconds he was getting hit 28% of the time.
NC State's defensive line looks pretty good and they stopped our running attack, as Fl. State will also probably do. NC State may give Louisville and Fl. State some trouble. It is hard to believe Louisville is favored by 20 (I think) in game with NC State. Also, the NC State QB looks poised. They will probably be able to move the ball against both of them.

Good post. Watson's completion record would be much higher along with his QB rating if all the WR caught the ball like Renfrow. Just a fact.
I think the NC State team was overlooked, under planned for, but as coaches have remarked" they have seen looks and schemes this year that they had never seen". So that is a contributing factor.. However, The Run/Push of the OL needs to hold a little longer, like AL & Washington which allows for more time in the pocket to extend the play.

ours and executed it quite well. I think they are a pretty darn good team and it is a mystery how they lost to East Carolina.

Gallman had 2 carries for 14 yards and we went right down

the field on that first drive until he was injured and fumbled. I don't think State has nearly the success against our running game if Gallman plays the whole game.
We are a different team when Gallman is in. It makes our play action passing game so much more effective. Gallman will be ready for FSU and they won't have the success against our run that State had against our backups.

^This shows more stats on the offensive lines of every team. Looks like a glaring issue is where we sit as far as being able to get a first down on 3rd or 4th down within 2 or less yards (we only get it 51.6% of the time...ranked #122 there). As a side note, that's the only spot it's showing are are worse than FSU's line.
