GT getting the business with basketball rescheduling......

Here's what their next week looks like after some of the rescheduling:

2/10- vs UVA
2/12- at Clemson
2/14- Pitt
2/16- BC

Now, 3 of those are at home and we are not a long road trip.
But that's 4 games in 8 days.
Coach Brownell keeps talking about 2 games in a week being taxing for our team.
Looks like GT is about to play a tournament.

We probably need to be prepared for one of our postponed games to show up on the schedule eventually.
I think we might get tagged with a road trip to Syracuse on March 3....they finish up March 1 right now and we have a break from Feb. 27 to March 6.

I don't see the game at UNC getting rescheduled unless we both have other cancellations. BC home game doesn't look like it's happening at this point.

Actually, Brad said that 3 games in 7 days was a rough stretch for us.

I’ve never heard him say that two games in a week are taxing for our team. It would be an odd thing to say, since college basketball typically has a weekend game and a mid-week game.

He basically says the pattern of a game every 3rd day is a grind.
Not disagreeing with that necessarily...but we have been spared from playing really short turnarounds.
Other teams play the Saturday/Monday swing a good bit.
I guess my point is we have it pretty good from a scheduling standpoint...thus when it brought up that we have a rough time with it...I don’t really see how that has been tougher than anyone else’s schedule. We’ve gotten a good deal.
Especially when compared to GT.
