in the snow after getting my tonsils out at the ripe young age of 3.5. I was supposed to stay another day but they were afraid I would get snowed in. Yes, I'm old enough that they actually kept people overnight in the hospital for minor things.
I'm surprised you didn't want to know who still has their foreskin, or are you saving that for the second date?
I ain't got no tonsils, no wisdom toofuses, no appendix, and I sho ain't got no foreskin.

But when I do get a sore throat, it's pretty bad. Probably should have had them out in the last few years but I have heard that a tonsilectomy (sp?) at my age is an absolute hayull of a recovery.

3 really bad sore throats, they jerked em out. So mine were gone at age 6. Looking back now, they realize most of the tonsillectomies back then were unnecessary. Kinda like "ear tubes" in the 90s and 2000's... every young kid I knew, including my son... had to have tubes in their ears. Why? I don't know, but they did. From what I understand now, it really wasn't necessary in most cases...
Also similar to all the "calm him the hel1 down" drugs the last couple of decades... seems like half the kids in school are diagnosed with some form of ADHD or whatever. And they start em out young being drug-dependent. Nah, they just need their azzz beat and told to sit down and shut up, a proven method that worked for centuries.
