it was great . it can't be that long ago that those guys, bird and magic went at it. btw i was watching the duke lacrosse 30 for 30 the other day when they cut it to show something else. if anyone has a link to it i'd appreciate it very much

It was fun reliving how physical the NBA was back in the 80's. Most of today's superstars couldn't have played in that type of game.
Hell some of the common fouls called back then would be techincals followed by suspensions.
Most of all listening to those guys talk about how Bird trash talked and literally told them what he was going to do before he did it, was amazing.

Back then when the game was a lot more physical, especially on defense. Hand checks, and all. It's amazing to see how great Bill Russell really was on more film. Made me have more of an appreciation of the " sky hook " back in the day. Now it's floaters and hands off the guy with the ball, don't even jump in his direction. The game has changed a lot, offensive minded for sure. However, good D transcends and will still be applicable, just harder to execute. Enjoyed the whole series.
