We’ve got to quit making Brownell the lightning rod

It is not his fault we are getting our butts kicked. He has not changed dramatically in the last 12 years. I hoped we were much better this year, but our best team ever is just a good team in a poor conference playing a crap schedule

We have two choices

We can accept what we are and have been or we can try to become better. I’ll pull for Clemson either way, but if stay the same, I won’t emotionally invest any more

To be clear, if Brownell can improve the talent and get us to the next level, I’m good with that.

I hope we can pull off a major comeback. If not, let’s win the next one

He is the CEO, so it is his responsibility. This is his team, it’s up to him to know how to make them play consistently every single game.

I don’t disagree. My point is we argue back and forth about Brownell, but he’s shown us who he is. No reason to argue. Accept the status quo or find some way to change it

care what record says. Some of those late 80’s/ early 90’s teams would dominate this team. Horace, Dale, Eldon, etc. Barnes teams would too as well as Booker led Purnell team.

I agree. I was referencing the comments I was hearing based on our success against our schedule. After the year is complete we need to do what is best for our program
