our recruiting. they are so shocked that we can go all over the nation and recruit top players while they have to rely on sc talent to get them by. needless to say, they are scared $hitless

Look at the last 2 signing classes for South Carolina and Clemson and see which includes more out of state kids.

SC produces great talent, but Ga and Fl are on a whole new level. As long as we keep stickin it to the Noles we'll continue to recruit well in florida!

South Carolina...the state of.....is strong in football for a state it's size....but to bank your recruiting on this one state...is big mistake.....

They'll never admit it, but they think they've arrived because the SEC has, and we are arriving again because WE are working our butts off recruiting and getting a championship mentality back.
Now, what we need to do is throw a wrecking ball into that glass tower in November and right the ship.

state guys is proximity. They are in an awesome spot on the map for families and friends to travel to see them play. Probably 75% of the reason why kids play for them and 25% bc they're in a great football conference..bc the actual city is horrible (maybe the worst in the state or the east coast) and the school itself has hardly any character at all. When 5 point is your selling point then you're selling trouble. But they are in a great spot on the map...kids from charleston 1.5-2 hour drive, kids from rockhill 1 hour drive, kids from upstate 1.5 hour drive whereas Clemson is a hike for a weekly trip for everyone in the state that isn't from the upstate.
So..thats the only real reason you would go to uSC...proximity in the state and the SEC. No reason for a kid from out of state to go there when there are so many better options out there. Why move to columbia...(shuttering as i type)
