Dabo just wanted to attempt a field goal. Nothing more and nothing less. He wants to give the players at each position an opportunity for game action before the game is on the line.

Much shorter and I figured it was important to try a fg in a game situation.
So I think it was more of that. But, I do think coaches know the spread. I think they care a little but not much.
I also think Dabo ran the ball with 20 sec left to get 400 rush yds. No other reason to snap it.

Lol. I guarantee you dabo had absolutely no clue the team was near 400 rushing yards before that snap. He was just trying to get as many reps for his backups as he could. He always does this.

I don't think Dabo gives a rat's #### what the line is. I seriously doubt he even knows the line, esp. not down to the point since the line changes.

I expect that he knows the general range. Considering different books have different spreads and they change moving up to game time, I'd be amazed if he was very clear on what it is. The only exception might be when we are underdogs and he is looking for a little more motivation.
If you had asked if he tried it because we had not made a 50 yarder in almost 6 years, I would have said it was a possibility.
