Coot Confuse! So Duke Volleyball hears a BYU fan or player make racial slur??

So Dawn Staley canels the one-one with BYU starting this year because a Duke Volleyball player might have heard a racial slur from a BYU fan-player-coach?? Cannot tell you who the accused person was but BYU takes the high road for apologizing for anyone affiliated with BYU using a slur, if that was the actual verbiage which hasn't been confirmed.
So I have 4 considerations that created the overall basis:
1. If it was racial lingo, It could have been like ethnicity that used whatever language as its used among black Americans as common vocabulary, therefore was it racial.
2. Was Duke losing therefore their frustrations took over and they exaggerated, lied, or misdirected verbiage to cause the typical over-reaction in this environment.
3. Does a Duke player not like Mormon religion and created a fake story to create drama?
4. Does Dawn Staley have a big tournament/game right before or after the scheduled date to where she was concerned about a loss to a quality team prior or post a big focus in either of the scheduled years?
That said, no way should 1 potential racial slur from a non-identified person cause a cancellation of a game-n-game schedule that represents millions. Plus when said school supposedly affiliated with slang is not in the same sport, but more importantly sent an immediate apology to Duke. They accepted responsibility even though they are not sure who spoke and what the terms were?
Dawn Staley is a huge democrat otherwise she would have taken her team to the Whitehouse. How could she not be smart enough to use this as a learning experience instead of a more divisive story that is more common than creating unity.
I admired Dawn's ability to coach but she is not a great mentor as her actions have been proven multiple times. She should never make decisions for her team like going to the Whitehouse and she should have been big enough to take those who wanted to go no matter if her political beliefs differ. She should have given the opportunity to the team. She might be great coach but she too strongly imparts her political beliefs too vocally for a state college. I am not a fan of her's at all.

You may be on to something. Let's start calling African American athletes the "N" word during Clemson athletic events since the "N" word is common vocabulary among African Americans.

Yeah, Duke African American athletes exaggerate and lie all the time when they are losing. Can't believe Clemson would recruit an African American athlete.

Yeah, only 1% of American Mormons are African American. So again, you may be on to something.

Yeah, Dawn Staley is scared to play BYU. She will probably come up with a reason not to play Clemson this year to avoid another loss.

So you reply to each stance as a rebuttal, I gave reasons as to why Dawn cancelled. Give me reasons that Dawn cancelled this game-n-game other than political which was my point. And this has no position in state employees that coach and educate our youth.
But besides that, the real point is if she is better she would have used this as a learning experience, but NO. She used this to be more divisive which is not what mentors should ever do! She could gave asked for investigation, asked for person to be banned, and then played a great game with lots of energy and expressed an experience after the game.
What did she do, she made it about more than it was and made her team part of the story. Dawn Staley is the most divisive in this story and she has lost a bunch of respect. She could be a bigger person but she has shown her beliefs.

Always some idiot with a lame rebuttal. Dawn Staley is a racist what about that? People won’t say it but her politicalization of certain things has brought me to my own conclusions. Not even sure why she is putting her self into this seeing this was a volleyball game not a basketball game and had nothing to do with SC. Looks childish is imo.

She is the intolerant POS and if I were BYU I would go be loud about my disgust for her. These were the actions of one person, which still haven’t been corroborated by anyone. If a person did say what’s being accused , that’s disgusting, and they need to be dealt with appropriately . But to hold an entire university responsible for the actions of one show her true colors. I used to be meh on their women’s basketball success but really do want them to fail now.

Dawn Staley is a great basketball coach and a race baiting liberal activist. At some point there will be a tipping point between those two aspects. When the USC boosters ask the USC Administration to ask her to tone down the political rhetoric and focus on coaching basketball, we all know how that is going to play out. Ray Tanner is in a no win situation.

Everyone around the "suspect" said they heard nothing. The video replay of that time period in the match showed he did not yell out anything. Now maybe someone else did. Dunno. Bottom line, there is no video or audio evidence to support the accusation, but the cOOt team decides to cancel the home and home series and further sully the reputation of BYU even though there is no supporting evidence.
Does anyone think that lawyers won't get involved here? What a mess this is.
