Sakerlina's arena. They have an NIT Champions banner hanging from the rafters.... also known as 65th in the NCAA. Dumb Coots.

I'm pretty sure Clemson would too had we won the NIT.

What's a joke is they have "sweet 16 appearance" on a banner implying they won a couple tournament games when in reality that was when the NCAA tourney was only 16 teams.

Why wouldn't you hang up a banner if one of your teams won the NIT tourney?

Not sure about now but Clemson use to have a banner up inside Littlejohn with the year of NIT appearances.

when you are an NIT team- I think you might as well honor the team that is able to win it.

For teams that have been to the NIT a good many times, it's tough to win that too - if you are an NIT team. Might as well honor those kids on those teams the best way you can.
