then why wouldn't BV pay for his son's tuition?
This is a big red flag.

after telling X McKinny we did not have any room for him this morning, I think some sort of punishment is in order for Venables.

We all know BV is just waiting to save the 1% of his yearly salary that he'd have to pay for tuition.
As soon as Jake signs his LOI, Brent is going to drop us like a bad habit.
He's been slow playing this since his Oklahoma days knowing his 4* LB son with a purebred pedigree would struggle to find a scholarship otherwise.

I'm pretty sure they do. Will is a preferred walk-on, not taking up a scholarship as far as I know.

[1.425MM / 4.55 MM] of his son's tuition?

IMO this is an internal matter for Dabo to handle. You are just trying to get some trouble started.
What's the difference in someone who can easily pay for their kids college tuition but apply and accept any financial assistance available to them and Coach V's son getting a scholarship??? None in my mind. If Dabo offers a scholarship to Jake V. Then I would not spend to much time worrying about it.

Different situation, Jake is rated a D1 player. I will trust our coaches, they have done a great job so far.

Michigan hires kid's dads and coaches all the time

Apparently Clemson was ahead of the Jake Venables recruitment by a few years when they hired BV. Great foresight by our staff!

I know. Too bad their coaches suck, and ours is the best coordinator in the country. Win-win.
