Remember, play calling means nothing. If it doesn't work it's because they players didn't execute. So I have been told.

Remember 3 things. 1. Player rankings are worthless. 2. We only have a few 5 Stars (for what that is worth). 3. If Cincy had a bunch of 5 Stars (for what that is worth) they would not be in the AAC this year.

There is a reason why the top teams in the polls at the end of each season are the same teams that have top recruiting classes.
Also, you said that we only have a few five stars. What?!? Our QB was a five star recruit. Our freshman RB was a five star recruit.
Most teams don’t have any five stars.
Most of our wide receivers, including Ross, Ladson, and Ngata, were high four star recruits.
We have LOADS of talent on offense!
For reference, the NC State team that beat us has zero 5 star players. Neither does the Georgia Tech team nor the Boston College team that we struggled against.

You can add Tristan Leigh, though he won't make an impact this year, and that's just the offense. We have several more on defense. Henry, Thomas, Bresee, Page, Carter, Murphy and Booth that I can think of off hand.

excuses about execution. There is obviously some truth to it but it doesn't account for what were seeing. This is a horrible Coaching job on an unprecedented scale.
