....this may be another lucky break for our Tigers. The timing of TL16 injury in regard to the schedule, I mean. According to this preview, WF is pretty weak against the run.

If we play Brice at QB, we should be able to rely on the run and some short play-action passes to get the win. And then comes the bye week. And TL16 should definitely be back healthy by the following game.

I hope TL is available to play because while Wake is not a great team, they can score some points. I think we need the threat of the passing game and would rather have TL in for at least part of the game to get up on wake and then we should be able to run the ball.

I may be in the minority here but I think Wake will play us tough.

Keep in mind Syracuse was somewhere around 108 in pass defense.

I think a lot of the stats can be meaningless this early in the season as most teams have played 3-4 power puff teams and also with the new redshirt rule, many teams have played more players to get them experience.

I think the stats start to become more meaningful after about the 8th week and teams have played a fair amount of conference games.
