If any of our current FB PLAYERS read this board...

please pass this along.
I can not tell you how many times over the past few years my family and I have had to listen to chickens everywhere gloat about their recent streak. We used to go places and never know a chicken existed, they were living in shame. Now they pop their heads out everywhere.
It is way past time. Rent on the COCKROACH is way past due.
I want to paint a little picture for you. Lets take a trip 4 months into the future.
Its game day in Columbia and all the eyes of College FB are on this game. WHY? SC and Clemson are both undefeated. It's #2 SC vs. #3 Clemson. (SEC favoritism)
It's late in the fourth QTR and SC is up by 2 and driving at the Clemson 25. It looks a lot like last year when SC went up by two scores late in the game. It's a new year, a new day and the chicken curse pops its head out of the grass at willy brice. Clemson intercepts a Gamecock pass and returns it 75 yds for a score to go up by 5. SC then moves the ball out to midfield but turn the ball over on downs with seconds to go. It appears that the tigers will win by 5 in a classy Dabo way,but from out of the Kneel-It Down formation, a trick play is called.(Spurrier deserves this one) Sammy(Can't touch me)Watkins is the 11th man and he is over by the sidelines, instead of going down on a knee, Tajh passes to Watkins and he easily streaks down the sidelines for 6 more. Clemson kicks the extra point and wins by 12. Clemson fans go collect rent and chant ACC 'til the early morning hours in Columbia. Nothing can take away the pain the past 4 years has cost us, but a win this year and one in this type fashion would go a long way.
Stay focused on the game at hand each week but never ever let this game NOVEMBER 30 out of your mind. 2013 is the year we set the Palmetto state back in order. By the way in my game described above, our freshman Alexander is the guy who made the pick 6 and SC's Jadaveon Clowney finished the game with 0 sacks. I guess no Heisman for him, Spurriers visor will still be on the ground the next morning. Dabo tells Spurrier when they shake after the game, "Enjoy the Cap One bowl while we are in Pasadena." SC loses to Bama the next week and then also to Michigan in Cap One for a rematch of last years Outback. Clemson beats Miami and then plays Oregon for the Title. Guess what? NT #2 That's right!
Let's go Tigers! Spot the Ball!

Sounds good to me. Put them in their place in their house. I'd be tickled. One game at a time though.

If Dabo, up 5, and able to run out the clock

Does anything, at all, besides taking a knee, then he's a friggin idiot. I said it a few years ago when Spurrier did it for "pretty points" against an inferior team. I don't remember the team, but they were up by not much, with the ability to simply end the game by kneeling and threw a TD pass. It was an astoundingly stupid thing to do, and my criticism has nothing to do with class.
The options: Take a knee = win the game 99.999999999% of the time Throw a pass = much larger chance something goes wrong
I know we'd all like some level of revenge and "righting of the world", but job #1 (and really the only one that matters) is win the friggin game. Just win.

Wow. I certainly agree with your enthusiasm but the odds of BOTH teams going undefeated are in fact extremely low. But hey, if it had to happen I suppose this would be the year. Should we make it that far into the season undy then I'd expect we will have played some stellar D. Should they make it that far undy, then I'd have to think they found a great weapon on O to replace what was lost in the last season. Not quite sure which one is more likely.
But I know what I'd like to see happen for sure.

Thanks coach. But when you look back at last season

which game hurts the most? Which one do you want back?
It's the game that's starred, highlighted and underlined. It's what makes a good season an even better season. We make bumper stickers out of the scores.

BACKING UP! I hope the team is concentrating on the DAWGS and nothing else. The rest will come one at a time and SCar will get theirs in due time.

I don't want Clemson to lose class just so we can pay them back. It's just not worth it to me.

I'd like for them to be on the edge of getting a post season game and be the team they have to beat to get it.
Then 63-17 Clemson, and go back to us being their bowl game. Send Clowney and SOS into their next phase of life as a miserable failure in this one.

My favorite Woody Hayes story was when they scored late to build a big lead versus Michigan (pre Bo) and Woody went for two. When asked later why he did that he said because they wouldn't let him go for three.
