no thanks

the supply is fine, folks are hoarding

everyone should stay home for one day, which would create a 400,000,000 gallon surplus

IDK what could be done to make the systems more robust...

BTW minimal federal government intervention is a traditional Conservative position _ yet some Pub leaders are saying Biden should do more?

PG&E culpability in the Cali wildfires, Texas electrical power generators crash in cold weather conditions and now a fuel pipeline the victim of a cyberattack... the vulnerability of the US utility infrastructure is significant. Not sure the government can provide or promote meaningful improvements ... or at least have not heard any solutions that make sense.

This will be interesting to watch.

It's a tough question. If the government could really get out of it, less is more. Less government intervention and regulations would be better. Let people decide how they want to get and pay for their power.

But, we are probably already too far gone and will need some minimal protections for citizens which means some regulations on these private companies. How much is needed? Depends on your favorite color (red or blue).
