That was the most widespread lunge troll probably in history. I remember sitting in class hearing people talk about it, getting genuinely angry over it. If I recall correctly, they were even talking about it on the radio, President Barker at the time ended up sending out an email telling everyone it was not true.

and give some sort of apology. At that time I'm pretty sure he was already on thin ice with the administration, but by the same token he had gained a good bit of support by raffling off the AK-47 so that may have saved his ###. I was one of the admins of the facebook group but was never contacted by anyway thankfully.

Yeah, I think I remember he pushed it hard after it sprouted (the guy who originally started was well removed from Clemson classroom by then), and was still a student at the time, so what you said makes sense.
But without a doubt, the best troll in Tigernet history. I'll have to ask him, but I do believe the originator got a little fussing from Crump.
