Storm Ida update

It appears Ida, which is currently a tropical storm likely to form into a hurricane, will unfortunately strengthen over the gulf and swing up through Louisiana and Alabama.

The good news, while the remnants of this storm likely will impact the Charlotte area next week, it will presumably pass the Charlotte area on Thursday and Friday.

It possibly could displace the muggy hot air with much drier and cooler air for the Georgia kick off, making it a very pleasant evening.
