You can say what you want about Tajh but he was TOUGH

& DURABLE.

We ran him to death in several games. Our porous OL allowed him to get sacked and bludgeoned an obscene amount of times but he always got up. He missed little to no time his entire tenure at Clemson.

I don't think we as a fanbase truly appreciated that as much as we should have.

I'd take Tajh over any quarterback currently on our team.

Of course you would take him over Dylan Thompson

Well, not me...

I have commented a number of times that we were very fortunate that Boyd was run as much as he was and did not get hurt. And that I thought our luck might run out, and that I am concerned about any offense at this elite level that relies on a dual-threat quarterback.

Do the Ducks have a dual threat QB?

Nov 15, 2014, 9:40 PM

Mariota runs a lot

I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger

Glad you brought this up...

A couple of years ago, hurt almost the ENTIRE YEAR.

If anyone disagrees with you let them watch the Peach Bowl against LSU. He took a beating in that game.

Who is this hero Boyd that has become so popular lately? Most of my memories of Boyd is him looking like a deer in the headlights in most big games, over shooting Watkins when he wasn't making circus catches or taking a five yard dump sixty yards for a TD.....but Boyd was tough though.

I always said that was his best attribute

Nov 15, 2014, 9:50 PM

He wasn't always the best at reading a defense and didn't have a lot of touch on his passes sometimes, but he was the most durable QB I have ever seen. He would absolutely take a beating and keep going.

Rememeber Whitehurst against Texas Tech?

Nov 18, 2014, 4:00 PM

He was pummeled during that game, but never quit.
