I’d love to see Clemson make SEC money ??

But———-> we had to climb the mountain & take out FSU, now we are in a really great position at this present time to be truthful. We are by far the best team in our league & we’ve won 2 natty’s and played in 4 and made 6 straight playoffs.

No matter what the SEC does they still have to go through Clemson to win a National Championship & it’s highly likely we will continue to be the top dog as long as Dabo & crew stay.

We just need to bloom where we are & figure out how to help the conference we are in produce more money.

I’d bet Dabo has a plan too!

Yep that SEC money has really helped the football teams in South Carolina, Vandy, Kentucky, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Mississippi State, and Missouri. The huge coffers are TAMU have managed to win 1 Natty in century. And of course Texas has more money than anyone and they've won 2 conference titles in the last 30 years.

But I get your point.

For everyone that argues Clemson needs to join the SEC to play big boy football I have one question. Are you good with being perennially mediocre in the conference standings in nearly every other sport Clemson competes in? Maybe soccer would compete near the top of the conference but every other team? Would the SEC money be enough to help Clemson be competitive in the other sports. I’m not so sure.

I think that SEC money has caused most of the SEC to make very poor decisions. Seems I read somewhere Tennessee has paid more in contract buyouts than we've paid in salaries.
