I'd like to keep our staff intact...I really think things

are coming together and the more this staff works together and gets to know one another the more intuitive things become during a game. They know when to zig and when to zag. Decisions are made quickly without hesitation and adjustments come quickly. We saw that this season, I thought. Forget the FSU game...that was just a train wreck that got totally out of control quickly. But, otherwise, even against South Carolina we made adjustments that began shutting some things down. You can't take away the turnovers but if you could you'd see a game in which we pretty much had answers for what they did as the game went on...well, except for Shaw's scrambles. But my point is this...our staff is gaining some momentum in working together. I'd like to see them stay together and see how much better, sharper, crisper we'll be next year. I know there are coaching changes coming all over the country but I just hope we can dodge that bullet. Despite the loss to the Gamecocks, I like where this program is headed.

Our paying Chad and Brent will make it more difficult for them to be lured away, even to a Head Coaching job at some programs. If they get that great opportunity they think will better themselves and their families they will act on it. I want the kind of persons in our program who always are looking to do better, for us and for themselves. It indicates they still are hungry for more success.
