I think WVU busted our cherry.

You think they'd want us?

Wow, what do you know, a UNC fan wants to keep the ACC together. Every conference has someone like Texas in it, at least in the B12 people actually care about football.

I'm all for keeping the ACC together because it is the better of the 2 options hands down. Sure, it needs better leadership than Swofford and that can be taken care of if the AD's and presidents of this league become more vocal. Sure the Big 12 is adding teams, but has it added any stability or is it just rearranging deck chairs on the titanic? What they've added comes nowhere close to what they lost. I can't stand UNC, but unlike Texas, they're not just staying in a conference as long as it's convenient for them.

I'm still not sure where the "Big 12 people care about football" comes from? I grew up in the heart of Big 12 country and, outside of the states of Texas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska, the passion was never really there. The Big 12 was formed out of convenience, but it never had staying power and never truly felt like a league, just a bunch of schools thrown together with no real rivalries other than ones established in the previous conferences. Sure, they did fine athletically, but the business model was flawed and you can't manufacture rivalries and creat passion. The two most passionate fan bases, A&M and Nebraska, have left. The remaining group really only has 4 fan bases that truly love football and that's OU, OSU, WVU, and Texas. TCU is about to come back down to reality now that they're in a bigger league, they'll be similar to Baylor and have a good year every now and then. Kansas, KState, ISU, and Tech will battle it out at the bottom of the conference standings.

Point is, the ACC can be a great conference, but there needs to be a change at the top. The only thing the Big 12 can offer us is 2.5 mil more a year, if those numbers are correct becasue at this point in time they're purely speculative. The Big 12 is once again trying to do what failed them the first time, comprise a league full of teams that have no natural rivalries and expect the passion to be manufactured.

Yeah, it's only 2.5 million a year or as we say 40% raise!

OU ranked 16th
OSU ranked 3rd
WVU ranked 17th
Clemson ranked 22nd
FSU ranked 23rd
TCU ranked 14th
Baylor ranked 13th
KSU ranked 15th

Or as we say, a conference with 3 more top 25 schools than the SEC.
