Lets be honest, the Clemson fanbase made it very clear

Jul 18, 2012, 3:14 PM

that they just aren't interested in trips to Big 12 country.

Which is great news, because I hear the Finger Lakes are beautiful in late november.

Anywhere around Clemson that sells parka and snow chains?

I think we're making it clear that IPTAYs allocation policies have for years made buying through them for bowls and other special games a crapshoot. I sat in many upper endzones at bowl games before StubHub made it easy to pay a few $$ more to get assigned seats on the 40yd line. Maybe this game is different, but why take the chance.

Most of the trips to Big 12 areas are just as crappy as the finger lakes. You ever been in Waco? The Janet Reno David Koresh tour is really special.

for Austin. Ober knows this but he thinks he's being funny.

The Finger Lakes in September and October would be infinitely nicer than any trip in the Big 12 except maybe West Virginia. In September it will feel like a vacation from the blast furnace of the south.
