Man stock market sucked today. I lost 6.5%

Ouch! I hate seeing that money gone. Haven’t even looked at the 401k lately. Hopefully tomorrow gets back some of it.

Both those up a few % today bc of the prices going up. It won’t last for them and they will drop back but would have been a short term fix for my portfolio.
I did buy a bunch of rolls Royce bc they just hired a new ceo and are down from $10 a year ago to $1.50 bc of the lack of demand for their jet engines. But that wil rebound, looking at a 100 to 200% gain this year for them I hope. They can’t drop much further so it’s a safe play.

Wants to take everyone's money.
We had a few major projects (>$20M) go on hold right after the election as the developers/owners decided to wait and see what happens. Thus far, there's no sign the projects are going to start again.
Higher taxes (on all levels) and higher energy costs looming are making them hold on to their money. Which is even worse since money is basically free right now based on rates.

Yea I lost 20% by 10pm but now down 7% today.

It’s the interest rates, inflation from the 2 trillion bill about to pass, and the minimum wage going up which will kill an estimated 1.2 million jobs and push prices higher. But hey we get $3600 each... oh wait I lost much more than that already this morning...
