Id give him another year to see what he does with Cade. You can't really tell how good TE is when your QB is the second worst rated passer in the nation.

Agreed. An OC with two national championship rings and record breaking offenses (until this year) deserves a better opportunity than Duke.

Duke needs another HC like Coach Cutcliffe. IMO it would be a bad job for a first time HC to take. Sta away from cootsville. It’s usually a career miler.

Tony would benefit from a little more experience at Clemson.

For selfish reasons I hope the BV deal falls through. Maybe Clemson is looking to see what they can do to keep him. I am just hoping. But if Brent leaves I wish him nothing but success. He gave Clemson so much. Thank you Coach V! May God guide you in your decision.

They don't expect championships in football at Duke. As long as he can perform as well as Cutcliffe, Elliott will be set for life. Regardless of all that Duke is a great school beyond their athletics department.

Perennial power Oklahoma offering BV, and no one offering TE to date is reflective of regional and nationwide levels of confidence & respect for these coordinators.

BV has been the undisputed leader of Clemson's Defense. TE has been part of a collective team of offensive play callers. No one is buying TE as the recruiter or developer of DW4 or TL16.

UVA seems to have marginal interest in TE as a HC (Poindexter is 1st in line). But Duke represents an opportunity to start and build HC skill sets at a school with zero expectations in a soft major conference. Wish them both the best when not playing Tigers!
