In Breckenridge - funny experience

Just dropped my daughter off at a camp where she will work with children with special needs. She graduated from Clemson and this is her dream.

In Breck I was waiting to get seated for lunch. I looked down the sidewalk and a saw a couple proudly wearing their Gamecock gear. They were both smiling. I smiled and said hello. They saw my hat and stopped smiling and gave me a somewhat muffled response. What a great way to start my stay! Go Tigers!!

I should have added that my daughter does rec therapy for severely impacted children with autism and ADD. She loves Colorado and they have a very nice ranch to help these wonderful children out .

Thanks Judge. It was hard to leave. This is where she will live now. She loves working with the kids. It always chokes me up when I see her working them. Every day is a gift.

I did take the gondola up to 8. At one of the switches, the attendant ran up to my cart when the door opened and he saw my Clemson hat. He told me he had 2 cousins at Clemson and that he had visited and loved it! Cool stuff

We adopted a new dog this week. While handling the paperwork a lady saw the Tiger Paw on my Rollator and asked If I went to Clemson. When I said yes she said she and her daughter visited Clemson and it was the best visit they had while deciding on a college for the daughter and they loved it. The daughter was number 3 in her class in one the best high schools in Raleigh. But, they decided on NC State because of the cost difference. I told her that we had promised our four children, one of whom went to Clemson, that if they could do it academically we would send them where ever they wanted and we didn't have a single instate tuition. It was money well spent.
