Their fans are obnoxious and they are our neighbor and we hate them, I get it.
But the day I start lamenting another team winning a game that my team is not involved in, whining about the SEC, accusing the competition of cheating, etc...
...if that ever happens, just shoot me in the face because I clearly have lost my way.

I am being a hypocrite, because I am not really acting like I don't care. I have posted that Bama would have won if they weren't missing 4 starters. That said, some are just going overboard. Yeah it sucks they won, but we can't act completely butt hurt imo. Gives any lurking Georgia fan glee and I don't think I don't want to do that.

What if North Greenville College was up on South Carolina 28-27 and the SEC refs made up two phantom PI calls in the final seconds that put SC in position to kick a game winning field goal?

when they played Tennessee in their bowl game, those players were clearly faking injuries. I previously had no feelings whatsoever toward them, now they're one of the teams I hate the most. And I don't even like Tennessee either.
We went to the last Georgia/Clemson game in Athens and had a great time. All of the Georgia fans we met were really nice, must be some holdover hate from the 80's. I would much rather them win the Natty that fuggin Alabama again.

Recruiting.
We still have to recruit against them, now with a little more to brag about.
The 40 year joke was fun, I hate them, can't stand to hear them try to pump themselves up, but I see them keeping more and more in state talent. Time will tell and NIL changing so much there's no easy predicting the future, but this could help them sustain even more.

Recruiting is the only reason I care. They are on the rise or on top and people are wondering where we are. That makes a huge difference in recruiting. It's more exciting to go to Georgia. Hopefully we start blowing people out next year, beat ND, and get into the playoff. I just don't see how could win it all though if we make the playoff with DJ at QB. Then again, he may be a completely different player next year. Maybe Cade is playing at that point?

2014 the 8th best class. 2015 they had the 6th best class. They were recruiting well, but they definitely took it up a pretty big notch.
