Where is Mafah in all of this? I saw him dressed for the game on Saturday. While I would imagine that they are saving his 4 redshirt games for later in the season should someone get hurt, this seemed like the perfect game to let him get his feet wet. Maybe next week, but im also very excited to see how he looks as well.

We will never know the true potential of this RB core until we can stop running guys out there like Will Putnam and Brockhorst to block for them.

They may be energized, but Elliot is wasting that energy running them into a brick wall over and over again. I’ve never seen a RB core as talented and deep as ours be underutilized the way it is. It’s disheartening. Especially to the players who make yardage and then are pulled out for whatever reason.

I respect Pace even more based on his complimenting a fellow RB. Spiller had a good role model and buddy in James Davis, and it looks like Pace and Shipley respect each other. Good to see.
