Chick-fil A and some Asian Place. Used to be more food options. The sign said Einsteins Bagels was closed on weekend. No bookstore there for souvenirs any more. At least 55 Exchange was still open.
The old Clemson I knew was there to wring every retail dollar out of you they could.

That experience is no longer at the Jimmy Hendrix Center.

That's across the street at The Donut Hills or whatever they call it.

The 3rd floor of Douthit used to be like the Hendrix food court area, but not anymore. This fall it became a third dining hall like Core and Schilletter. It's got great pizza.

There are eateries in each of the new dorms now

For example there is a raising cane's in one of the dorms that replaced Johnstone. You don't have to go far to spend your parents money anymore as compared to when I was at Clemson.

There used to be great dining options at Hendrix. I'd hit it up for breakfast 2-3 days a week back in the day.

Same here! In 1967 when I was a freshman, the only options other than the dining hall and the Canteen were Dan's, the Red Carpet Lounge, and the Study Hall... all downtown. The Study Hall had great roast beef sandwiches!

Do they still have the Chili's? That place was awesome. You could buy beer with your paw points.

Back in my day, all we needed was the East Campus Store if you wanted to get ripped off for dollar store items on campus!

Yeah, so at least you didn't have to go to the P&A bldg. for your ice cream. 😃

P&A had no ice cream vibe but when it moved to Hendrix where it actually looked like an ice cream shop it felt weird.

That was actually what I usually got, as I was skinny in college and trying to put on some weight...a malady that I outgrew as the years passed.
