apparently Structural Engineers are ridiculous.

If we ever sell this new house and a buyer wants to consult with a structural engineers we won't be selling the house to them.

For those of you thinking of taking on the mantle of selling your home, if a buyer wants a SE, walk away from the deal.

like who even spends time calculating the physics of materials and loads to ensure that various structures remain in tact and don't collapse?
