Well boys, looks like not only GameDay is coming to town

Sep 25, 2022, 9:58 AM

But also looks like Tropical Storm/Hurricane Ian could potentially be passing over or very close to Tigertown on Saturday. So not only do we have another early season test for ACC Atlantic test, but the nastiest weather we've seen in a game since 2015 Notre Dame. Coaches & players are gonna have their work cut out not only w/ a good gameplan but protecting the ball. We're definitely gonna be separating the men from the boys Saturday night in the Valley.

GO TIGERS! BEAT THE WOLFPACK!

The European model shows the storm getting pushed east and out to sea, hopefully that one ends up being right. Either way I'll be there rain or shine!

Would be nice. Seen that 1, as well as a few

That would pull the storm more over eastern SC, keeping the eye & probably bulk of storm away from Clemson. But looks like most of those models have it going more westward where Clemson would be in direct path or significant impact off the storm.

Seen it's suppose to weaken according to NHC (Thurs 2AM is showing major hurricane, Fri 2AM back to Cat 1/2 status before it makes landfall in Florida). Hopefully that holds to where it loses it punch before hitting so it'll weaken quicker once it gets inland

Just from past experience the hurricanes that come from the gulf are tropical storms by the time they reach us. Too much land to go over to remain a hurricane
