I hate to call out players, but I'm puzzled as to how Xavier Brewer gets as much PT as he does.

You can't tell me Cortez Davis couldn't be similarly effective.

Brewer's not anywhere close to as good as he was as a sophomore. I don't understand why he struggles so much.

I was saying the same thing all game, Brewer kept getting beat all game long. He is basically good enough to outplay the other guys in the secondary but isn't good enough to make a play when he is actually on the field.

He's a good tackler when he's in position, and he's one of the few players on our team who has that "fire" you want to see in a defender.

Unfortunately, he's usually (way) out of position.
