One of the announcers of the Duke v NIU bowl game just defended Alabama being the fourth team in the CFP based on way they handled Ohio State last year. Wow! Just wow.

I actually thought he meant the way OSU was handled in the playoff last year... but he did make it unclear what he meant.

I think it was pretty clear. His colleague asked if he agrees with the decision to make Al the fourth team in and he quickly responded to the effect, yes especially the way they handled Ohio State last year.

I believe he was referring to how Ohio State was not a conference champion but got in over other conference champions. That was the situation Alabama was in this year. This year, Ohio State was making the argument FOR conference champions; last year they were against it.
