should some of the eye candy/motion be added back?

should some of the eye candy/motion be added back in to the offense? I thought Morris used it to much and got to gimmicky at times but a lot of worked and kept the defense honest and guessing until the ball was snapped and it was to late for the defense to adjust. I know Elliot/Scott talked about simplifying and using it less but they have almost gotten rid of it entirely. Should they incorporate some back in to the system in the long break between now and ND? What do you guys think?

2. They should not add it back in if the current crop of players aren't good at it.

getting lined back up right is a wee bit more complicated than you are thinking it is. You've also got to have linemen sit still that long.

our guys had no problem running it the past 4 years and with the exception Hyatt and couple of the true freshmen receivers they've all run it before in our system.

Yes the play calling has been very predictable so far. I hope it's because of all the youth but it's def got to open up.

Yes!You have Scott,Renfro, and Mccloud. They all have enough speed to make the defense play honest. Our offense looks predictable and over simplified. This is not the Chad Morris offense. No way.

We need to block better not use more trick plays.

Pre-snap motion is not a "trick" play.

you're an LB and have a blitz called and suddenly you have to account for a TE that's moved over, you change your call.

If a defensive end has to hold his position because of the threat of jet sweep motion or the orbit motion, then the pass rush gets to Watson a little more slowly. It also gives our oline a chance to get into position.
The other thing it can do is mess with the DB's eyes and allow receivers to get open more quickly. This part makes the pass protection less important.
