brother-in-law once told me that, and I am quoting here, "Our QB would be better than your QB, if he could run better and throw better." I am pretty sure this was back during the Woody years, but I am not sure who the Coots QB was.
He has also told me that Spiller would have never gotten the carries at USuC that he got at Clemson because Spurrier wants his running backs to weigh more than 200 lbs.
Oh and also, Brandon Wilds is a better running back than Marcus Lattimore before Marcus started getting injured.
I am not sure what my sister married him for, but it wasn't for his brain that's for sure.

We were caught in a flood of people leaving the stadium over near Fike. I was with two of my friends who do not go to Clemson but are huge fans. We started a Cadence Count and everyone near us did it like normal. Then, these two female coots (who were absolutely trashed, college-aged) held up their hands and screamed "At least we won 5 straight!"
Little did they know, everyone started laughing at them, because to them, winning 5 in a row was the only thing they could hang their hat on. It was kind of pathetic, just made you wanna shake your head.
I've heard many dumb coot things in the past, but this one did it for me.

After the Tigers lost in Columbia in 2001, one told me that, "It was all over for the Tigers, the ##### are so far beyond you with the bigtime SEC and you guys in the ACC, that it' like we are on a cruise ship waving good-bye to you guys, stranded on shore. We may even drop you for someone more competitive." Well after Clemson won in 2002, I reminded him and asked him if it was the "Good Ship Lollipop"? After the 2003 blowout, reminded him and told him I knew the name of cruise ship, it was the Titanic. After 2004 I told him that, "he was wrong, it wasn't a cruise ship, it a ship full of hot air, it was the Hindenburg." Needless to say after his prediction Clemson went on to win 6 of the next 7 games and he quit predicting anything.

I had about the same conversion with one after that year too, said we couldn't beat them for at least the next 10 years, and now that the SEC money is rolling in they should always be a top 5 team....
