Fell down? He was trying to recover from the outside move and burst by Greene that spun him around and almost broke his ankle...Alexander was beaten even if he had kept his footing. Check out the replay carefully. However, the only two plays that I saw he was beaten by their great All-American receiver was that TD and the previous play. For most of the game Alexander covered Greene like a glove. Mackensie was aggressive, appears to love contact, played very intelligent defense, and trashed-talked Rashad all night long. He's gonna be one of the very best Tiger defensive backs of all time, and there is a long and impressive list of those Tigers in the NFL.

Don't think the pass would have even got off except venibles looks like he called off the pressure that down and was looking for a screen. If we bring pressure like we were he would have never had time to throw it.

Agreed. Super impressed not only with the few times they highlighted his matchup during the game...but also with the fact that we literally have heard nothing come out of his mouth since he's been here. He showed up, went to work and what do you know now he'll be in a discussion as one of the best after just 3 games here.
Excited about this future and love his demeanor.
