Thoughts about the game...

I think we all predicted a run-heavy game but were a bit disappointed when we remembered that our interior OL can't block well. Putnam and Parks aren't good football players. I don't know how else to say it. Speaking of bad play, DJ isn't good and it was clear not a single coach on either side respected his passing ability. Clearly, Streeter was handcuffed in his play-calling but the draw plays on 3rd down were absolutely stupid. I am questioning whether we could have gotten a true offensive mind to help this offense. I know a lot of you will disagree with me for some reason.
The defense obviously won this game. I am happy that Wes was able to continue on what CBV started. He didn't blitz as much but hard to argue with the results.
Super happy with the win. A real down year on offense. We got a ton of talent back next year but need to find a QB. Where though?

I was happy to see how he would coach it. And was quite happy to see him not telegraph the blitz on every 3rd down.

spring and he will be a big part of our Spring Workouts. If DJ wants to compete for the starting QB next year, he needs to put in a lot of work.

Hopefully you will take this advice and I hope we will never see another post from you. You are one of the most over the top negative Clemson fans on this site. This was our least experienced and least talented offensive team in years. To win 10 games is just a credit to Dabo, his coaches and the heart of all the players.

If not for the run game we would have no offense.
DJ# 5 is perhaps the worst quarterback I have ever seen.
And I once saw Ryan Leaf( as a pro, but what the heck).
I thought Streeter started out with a good game plan, but had very little to work with when your Quarterback is just to inconsistent.
Defense once again won the day. I think they are in good hands with Wes.
Season as a whole was something not many expected but 10 wins is 10 wins.
However ,if changes to the offense are not made we may end up getting cut down in The Valero Alamo Bowl next year.

Hopefully, Cade will either push DJ to better things or will take over himself and excel. Also hope our punter is more consistent. Spiers sometimes good, sometimes not. Oline needs to improve. We need more catches from receivers. Too many drops. More slants and over the top passes too. D is awesome. Would not change a thing. Wes and company off to a great start. Obviously, need better fortunes with injuries, COVID, transfers. GoooooTigers!!!!!!!!!!!

I was extremely happy with the play calling. We ran our offense hiding our weaknesses and won. It's what I've been screaming about all season. When you aren't a threat to throw just run and throw short to keep them honest. Our defense led us to 10 wins this year. Control the game on offense and let the defense win it.

As for Goodwin, even with all the injuries this D was one of the best in the country. I think he’ll be a pretty good coach but one game is hard to judge. I really want to see what he can do when everyone is healthy.
