And played his tail off. I loved his command of the offense. He never looked rattled. Very confident young man. People were saying he’s got moxy- well he proved it today. Congrats to you, Chase! Well done

Chase Brice proved himself under fire in as tough of a situation as he could’ve been called into!

We are fine at QB, get TL healthy and the plan has not changed one bit. Grow the QB’s and play for the NC.

Plus he's had a full season as a redshirt to learn the system. I don't always put a lot of stock in coachspeak, but Dabo did say that he felt like we had three QB's that were very capable of starting before the season.
It looked like Brice was nervous at first, but after the first drive of the 2nd half stalled and then he threw an INT on the 2nd drive, he seemed to settle in. His throws were inaccurate early on even though Renfrow made that one spectacular catch, but the throw to Higgins on 4th and 6 was a thing of beauty. He also does a good job on his fakes.

I absolutely agree! My main thing is that I want players that WANT to be there, on the team, part of the family. And we certainly have an excellent group of young men on this team!
I'm not going to badmouth KB as he's probably going through a lot, but it wouldn't have helped to have a jealous person on the sidelines secretly pulling for TL and his team to fail just so it would show how much they 'need him' or the likes.
Hopefully, everyone will end up for the better and KB will end up somewhere that makes him happy.

I'm thankful we have Chase, as well as the coaching staff that brought him here. I am happy for him and the rest of the team that fought hard, even when so many things weren't going our way. Winning isn't easy.
