Does Any1 think Some of our Freshmen May See Much Playing Time???
Carlos Watkins?? Shaq Lawson?? Or Matin Aiken?? Kevin Dodds??

Thoughts???

I Was Told That Carlos Watkins Will Be The Most Athletic& Talented Interior Lineman We Have..As soon As He Steps On the Field.....

D.J. Reader looks the Part

Many freshmen will play

Dodd will most likely back up Goodman at the SDE. Watkins will push for PT immediatly no doubt. I feel that Reader will take a RS though as will Josh Brown. Lawson and Aiken are both talented and with only Vic Beasly in front of them to backup Crawford, either of them may take that spot from Beasly who is still learning to be a WDE. The other will take a RS. I expect Lawson, due to overall ability, to avoid a RS and fight for PT behind Crawford though Beasly looks like a good speedy WDE.

I expect three freshmen to see significant PT next year.

I think Watkins plays, but they would be well served to RS

the rest of them.

We don't have that luxury.

We have decent depth at DT but Watkins is simply a superior talent so he'll play. We have no depth at DE. We have Goodman, Crawford, and Beasly. That's as thin as can be. Dodd will play behind Goodman most likely. Beasly is good but still needs more time to get comfortable at DE considering he was a TE/LB/DE hybrid. Thus Lawson and Aiken, both who are good players, will have a chance to play.
