as well as blowing a wrong whistle...
as well as incorrectly saying Arky gained possession - when they clearly did not....
as well as taking 10 minutes to gather together, call out to instant review....
and yet still getting it all wrong.
Charlie Chaplin couldn't have done it better.

If the holding occurred before the kick changed possession (which is what they eventually said), the penalty goes from LOS and Ark keeps the ball. Everything else is moot. The nutty thing is why they wasted so much time getting there.

really knew what the sequence of events really was.
While it possible for defensive Holding to occur prior to a kick
and therefore prior to change of possession,
the refs' failure to note the player called for Holding
and then the lengthy delay in getting to that understanding
told me that Bulimic simply convinced them of a chronology
that existed to the benefit of Arky
but had little relation to known reality.
I think the refs blew it all around....

VT fumbled the punt, Ark touched it, something about an inadvertent whistle, VT recovered the punt, then a penalty at the line of scrimmage during punt, Ark coach argues, go to a review of the play, then Ark gets ball back at line of scrimmage due to penalty and VT then begins to kick #### in the second half.
