unranked team to make the playoffs. Do not be surprised if the committee studies our resume closely and decides that we are "in" at the end of the season. They know what we have had to overcome this year; injuries, new players at key positions, coming off a COVID season, etc... Don't forget, all of that is taken into consideration.

FM,
I love the Tigers but, I don't think this Tiger team has any business playing 'Bama, UGa or OSU. We could've played with the best of them opening day, and did. But not now. Now, I feel we've earned a shot at a #8-#12 ranked team. That would be a good competitive game. Getting blown out because we think "we deserve to be there" sounds like a Bucknutt stunt.

Not with 3 losses because only the top 4 go .And there are to many teams with one ,maybe even two loses with better resumes.
So I would say your chances are like that of a snowball or a 3rd class passenger getting in the first lifeboat off that sinking ship.

I was concerned the committee might make their choices based only on wins. I'd hate to see the game reduced to just win-loss records and money making potential.
Once you reminded me that the committee considers all sorts of "intangibles" in their selections I felt A LOT better.
It wouldn't be fair to this team, or America, really, to miss out on how great we are in so many ways by simplistically looking at only one facet of the game.
