I think the scenario that takes Sumlin

to USC is the one that finally gets Chad Morris the job he wants. That being said i don't think it happens. I think Jack Del Rio is the next head man in the land of Troy.

why would a&m hire an assistant coach with no proven hc experience or recruiting background. imo chad will need to get a smaller school hc job before he gets a major job like a&m or texas. had he gotten the tt job and been very good there he may be a candidate. kingsbury would make more sense because he has been an assistant there and knows sumlin's system having worked with him at Houston and A&M.

I think that he would be an excellent fit and having had a highly successful high school program in that state he would be attractive to them. It is obvious that his work as an OC is impressive. I think aTm would take him in a heartbeat IMO.

If a bigger name is available, they won't choose him. But, the perfect storm could happen for Chad.

The thing is...does Del Rio leave with the Broncos dominating the NFL?

I don't think the USCw job is gonna work out well for anybody. They think if the don't win the NC every year their program is all to pieces.

<3 the pressure cooker.
it's one of the premier jobs in college football. if they shy away from it, i don't want them at clemson either.

leaving an attractive opening in Waco. Bottom line, we need to enjoy every game this year because, sooner or later, the Chad will become a head coach.

Sumlin has unlimited funds at TAMU

He has all of Texas to recruit, and he doesn't have any scholarship restrictions. I have no idea why people think A&M is a bad job. At this point, it is a much better job than USC. USC only has 54 scholarship players and the NCAA just denied their appeal.

that just got hit with "Lack of Institutional Control" makes that guy the head man. He doesn't even have control of the #2 program in Texas. No way he could handle a whole roster of superstars.

Coach who would become another 1-and-done at an SEC school. Look where it got them last time
